These pictures were sent to me anonymously and I thought they were very interesting.

I do not know where this inground swimming pool is located or any other history of the pool. Apparently the homeowner emptied this swimming pool during the rainy season without removing the drain plugs to relieve the hydrostatic pressure underneath the concrete pool shell. In the accompanying message, the writer says, (quote) "When I talked to her son he said he felt the ground shake and heard 2 loud pops right before it just popped out of the ground!" (end quote). I wish I could have been there to witness that!
